Aye, that's me, and awesome :D Thanks!

I'm guessing the map was reset at some point though, given I think I last played on the server in the pre-stronghold days lol. I feel like crap tonight, but I might drop on tomorrow and set up camp somewhere.

Re: Welcome to Edolas (Server information)

So I've been gone for freakin' ever, but I remember loving both this community and the Edolas server. As I suspect the whitelist I was on is probably long gone, I'd like to re-request permission to play with you guys. I won't be exceptionally active, but I'd drop by from time to time to hang out and...

Re: Future Timeline

The fact we are all talking about the achievements of some of our long dead souls is proof enough that just because a person has died, their mind has not been lost to us. But it has. Once they're dead, a person's ideals and works can be twisted to suit any need. I've seen, in all seriousness, quote...

Why does it need to? Religion is no more than a number of people subscribing to the same belief system in regards to the metaphysical.

Re: Future Timeline

Likewise, if we do not simply accept that we exist as a fact, how would our philosophy advance? For all we know we could be the dreams of a disembodied consciousness-- but that is a doubt that is unreasonable. Which is still existence. A disembodied consciousness is still a form of existence. I am ...

Re: Future Timeline

Yeah, I don't agree to this actually, "Cogito ergo sum" should be read as: "The act of thinking proves that I exist". It's meant to be a proof for existence and it's very hard to even try and refute. It's as close to an accepted theory as you'll ever get in philosophy. The fact ...

Re: 3D Printing Minecraft Maps

Hehe...that is pretty awesome. Must cost a fortune though. Through that one 3D printing service, the name of which I can't remember, something like this would probably be around 2K. If you know someone who has one or something though, the actual cost to make it shouldn't be more than a few hundred.

Re: Features you feel detract from minecraft?

I think the ability to pick up and move water source blocks (i.e. non-HCB) definitely detracts from the game. The new mob spawn rules you mentioned, same thing (although I plan on remedying that). And of course...wolves ;) I would contest you on the last point, in that it indirectly resulted in BTW...

Re: The Outpost, a BTW Playthrough Journal

Think of it this way: You're pioneering. For SCIENCE . And mining. But mostly science. So if you get yourself killed, we can always write it off as a control group and simply work you into our controlled reanimation experiments. And we'll just keep testing and testing until you die. After that? I s...

Alrighty, once you do I can whip up something to suit your needs. Like the BD it'll be simple but easy to distinguish from typical dispensers.

Really like this Journal Morv good job! It would be awesome though possibly tedious if Kwilt could do the voice for Cave Johnson for all the Guide Book parts. We'll see if he's interested. KWilt? I'd be honored. Seriously, it'd give me something that doesn't require me to be obliged to do an extrem...

I respect other's opinion, but I think this mod is far too OP to be used. I think it's much more rewarding to do it the old fashioned way than using this mod. But anyway, it sure simplifies the thing a lot ^^ Yeah, I agree, Wireless Redstone feels like downright cheating to me, but that's personal ...

I stared at my screen for a few minutes, then stood up. I sat down again. I closed my laptop, sat there, and thought for about twenty minutes. I expect this from some games, but not Minecraft. That would require dual-loading of files. Itemrenderer tells the game what items are supposed to look like. I'd need to edit ANOTHER base class to do what you describe. I see what you mean. Pulled open the code, and yeah, itemrenderer doesn't have anything to let any object except maps render the w...

Fracture's Terraria Server (1.1 Winter Update!)

Alright, so with a recent power outage, my server went down, given that it's hosted off my desktop tower. What I'm wondering, a simple aye or nay, is if there's still interest enough for me to bring it back up. If the answer to that is yes, then I'd also like to know if we'd want a fresh world for t...
