Re: Mob Trap Fixes?
I was trying out the 1.0 release with buildcraft (no, wasn't running BTW at the time) - and realized I was having issues finding squids - even though I was pretty much on an island, surrounded by water - even turning on the entities radar on rei's minimap showed there were no squids at all. I looke...

Re: BTW Pure Mods
I'd be interested in that myself.Gilberreke wrote:Sure, but you can just dial it down if you think it's too powerful. The mod is configurable.
Anyone up for creating the ideal BTW+BOD config file for BOD?
Problem 1: I don't seem to have a config file with mine.
Problem 2: I have no effecient way of testing.

Re: BTW Pure Mods
I don't know that I would agree that BOD doesn't change anything about the balance... Oh? Explain? It makes attaining massive amounts of mineral resources much easier (at least with default settings). Lapis is espescially easy as it's been move to occur up at the surface in huge veins. But I think ...

Re: BTW Pure Mods
Just to reign this back in, this isn't a thread about BOD, it's one about 'good mixers' with BTW. In other news :o omg! BTW just updated 5 mins ago! *downloads* It's not about "good mixers", it's about "pure mods", which is even further. Good mixers just work fine with BTW and p...

Thank you! Will it be compatible with non-forge mods like millenaire and treecapitator and better ore distribution and twilight forest?

Flowerchild can i ask what timezone you are in? FC tends to keep his personal information very private. Don't think he's going to answer this one (though he could surprise me). I'd refrain from asking, as well. I can certainly understand that. I figured timezone was vague enough that he didn't have...

Re: Converting a windmill into hemp strings
I would argue that reducing it to cloth is realistic while reducing it to thread/rope is not... Unweaving cloth is no easy feat and tearing/cutting it apart would destroy the fibers rendering it useless as rope. Besides... Don't you want it so that you can grind in the nether while mining?

Ok but colored wool would still be 8 times more efficient that binary signals. Also you could carry them around and input them in a specific order to execute commands.

I'm sorry I haven't used BDs that much that I could see how they could be used in this fashion. Also BDs aren't portable and can't be pushed by pistons.

So first off please don't permaban me. I know you locked the other thread but it gave me this idea and I thought it was different enough it might be considered. Omg pistons! That makes so much sense. I was trying to figure out how in the world someone could automate a kiln with only one block opening.
