Re: Jungle spiders: BTW exclusive?
Thaumcraft 4 has cave spiders spawning in the magical biomes but I don't know if that is in the FTB pack as that uses Thaumcraft 3.

Re: The Pixar Theory
The Monsters Inc. one is even unnecessary as they are obviously on a separate world (or dimension or whatever) and travel to the human world so twisting it to time travel doesn't really help.

Re: Hardcore Buckets Option removal discussion
Seems ideal to me. Forces people to use HCB and thus removes it as an option that needs to be catered for but I can still do an aesthetic build with water/lava if I really want to.

As it's vanilla I wouldn't bother with the armour. An iron sword would have been better if you had the ingots.

No but that is what the episode seemed to suggest to me. "He will have other names before the end. The Beast, the Storm, Valeyard" or something like that.DaveYanakov wrote:He has had incarnations that are not the Doctor. It's not neccesarily a future one.

Re: Next Doctor announced!
I understood John Hurt to be playing a distant future version of the doctor as the great intelligence says he will have different names before the end and Matt Smith says that what Hurt did/does/will do (Getting rather Bioshocky) is not under the name of the Doctor. Although that could be equally ta...

You also get this when you have created a world before a Minecraft update affecting world gen. There hasn't been one in a while though. In one of my old worlds I have some rather dramatic ocean/extreme hills borders and in another there are several shear cliffs underwater.

Bear in mind when purchasing Magicka that it requires a dedicated graphics card rather than just an integrated chip. It's worse in terms of optimization than even Minecraft. Also is Prototype 2 worth getting for £7 (i.e. is the port any good). Nnng ? I run Magicka real fine on my laptop with integr...

Re: Hardcore Spawn is finished
My first reaction to the update was definitely negative but something I realised after a little thought is that the problem I have with HC spawn is that it gets in the way of my current goals in my world. The real epiphany is that BTW shifts the focus of MC especially in the early game more towards ...

As for locking difficulty: I'm definitely doing that by save game in the near future, but the point I've always debated is whether to make the mod "normal only" in terms of completely disabling other difficulty levels. They're kinda two different things for me. The only problem with this ...

Re: Mushrooms
Bear in mind this is the check done on each mushroom. A mushroom at the edge of the group will not have 5 mushrooms around it and will be able to spread. The subsequent checks are for placeability and do not count the mushrooms in the vicinity. This would imply that more mushrooms would be found tha...

I think that this would actually harm the trading system in anarchy play. It is supposed to be a risk. Providing an easier way to trade with each other would make trading safer and thus ruin this aspect of danger.

Use a water flow to remove the wheat. That way you get the wheat and seeds. Separate them with a hopper filter and you're away.
