Re: Powered rails and elevators
No, the above isn't right. They behave entirely differently. If someone else confirms this is happening, I'll take a look at it. Just tried it on my test world (Gamemode was set to survival for tests) Here's the result(Also shown with all 3 detector rails.): http://i.imgur.com/wSEPsIW.png Powered R...

Re: Wheat seeds collectable with hoes
I couldn't find a specific thread on the topic, but I thought that, since the recent changes to Bonemeal, it was worth a shot anyways. So, yeah, since we've got Hardcore Bone, you can't farm tall grass before you manage to get yourself a tool with Silk Touch. And sometimes, tall grass can be a bit ...

Looks like stone brick moulding. I didn't even notice. Or did he already add stone brick moulding? I don't remember. Anyway I'm guessing the numerous small tweaks are going to be falling under the hardcore moniker? 4.01 to be exact! I like the cat defense system... The moldings add a nice look to t...

Thanks! I love writing poems. I read it in more of a voice like if Clint Eastwood was to read Shakespeare. It was epic.Ribky wrote:Dude. You rock.Sky_Som wrote:---the whole zombie poem---
For some reason I read that with the voice of Bruce Dickinson singing 'Run to the Hills' stuck in my head.

Re: Problems with Linux
Black screen used to be indicative of the META-INF folder needing deletion, but I recall someone saying that this wasn't required anymore. The next best thing to do is to try incrementally adding in the mods, just modloader on it's own to start with. Not sure what zip utility is good to use for lin...

Did it work on the windows computer first? Otherwise the first thing that comes to mind is permissions. Couldn't try it on the windows computer, as it crashes because of missing some software Minecraft needs(College computers, so I couldn't download it). It works without mods, but once the mods wer...

Problems with Linux
So after my Windows crashed, I switched to Linux. Re-downloaded Minecraft, and started to put mods on(Not using manager)... Wasn't working, so I gave up and pulled the files to a windows computer to use winrar. Still nothing. It's not generating a modloader.txt, and when I run "java -Xms512 -Xm...

I believe the crucible changes color on top when something inside is cooking... the level of molten metal rises and sinks judged by amount. however not by action, a active and non active crucible with the same amount of content appear the same even though one is working. A burning crucible does cha...

They're in the FCRecipe class file. If I remember right, calling FCRecipe.AddAnvilRecipe(or other recipe thing as needed) will do the trick.

Yea, I know, but I wanted the extra challenge of doing it a different way, rather than building another set of what a design a already use, plus it's more efficient.Stormweaver wrote: Yknow, the saw dust can be rendered into potash too (16:1) which is probably the more suitable method for automating it.

Re: New Release! (BTW V3.52)
Finally got around to playing with the nether sludge! Automating it was a little harder as I always use saws on my Blood wood(or all my tree farms for that matter), but I enjoyed the extra challege to make it use a BD so I could use Pipes to move the wood! Thanks for all your hard work on this!

the 16 wool colours were added for exactly this reason. But say if you wanted to have 16 images "saved" on your screen of BDs but some of the pixels have the same color twice. They would stack with each other and break the rest of the images. I like itamarcu's idea and I don't think it wo...

Re: Dynamic lighting for torches/glowstones
I dont know if it has been suggested before, but with what you were able to do with the lens and lighting up around you, I figured it probably wouldnt be that hard to implement it if you hold a torch or a glowstone block. I know other mods do it, but I havent been able to get them to co-exist. Dont...
