When used as a Hopper filter, Slats permit fibrous materials, such as String and Hemp Fiber, or extremely thin materials, such as Paper, Leather, and Hemp plants. Like all other filters, they allow powdery substances to pass through unobstructed.

Slats can be placed as block, in the same manner as glass panes and iron bars.
