There is a large number of videos unwatchable due to being made private Suggested action? LaserSushi 02:45, 25 August 2011 (EST)

Just want to say that each page should have some kind of summary on it. Camerinthus 16:51, 7 August 2011 (MDT)

  • I agree with you and we should come up with a standard template. Therealfirestarter 14:18, 8 August 2011 (MDT)
  • I think we kind of do. It's something like this: Summary, Crafting, Applications, Keep in Mind, Demonstration Video. Naturally, this won't work for every page, but keeping it mostly to this standard would be good. Camerinthus 18:18, 8 August 2011 (MDT)

We also need templates like "This page is a stub", or "This page needs to be cleaned up", like there are on more developed wiki sites. Darahalian 00:49, 10 August 2011 (MDT)

  • I added both the stub page and cleanup page, hopefully they look good. You can use them by adding {{stub}} or {{cleanup}} to a page. Therealfirestarter 09:48, 10 August 2011 (MDT)

Should I redo all the crafting pictures so they look better, for example: CraftNethercoal.png Cleaner border, visible name and higher res.? Therealfirestarter 08:48, 11 August 2011 (MDT)

We shouldn't use custom textures/icons for pages in the wiki showing how items are crafted/constructed (minus videos) since it would confuse people. Also I cleaned up a bunch of the CraftItemname.png files to be consistent. I can finish the rest later unless someone beats me to it --TheGuy 11:24, 22 August 2011 (MDT)

Added Template:Delete so admins can find these junk pages easily for deletion

  • #REDIRECT [[Spam_page_1]] {{delete|Spam}} --TheGuy 11:05, 27 August 2011 (MDT)

Would it be possible to have http://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Extension:ParserFunctions installed so we can use Ambox? --TheGuy 15:45, 27 August 2011 (MDT)

Installed ParserFunctions. Also cleaned up the spam. In the future PM me on the forum as I rarely check this page of the wiki. --Sargunster 15:04, 13 September 2011 (MDT)

  • Looks like we got a bot creating new users, notice all the recent new users have names in the same format:

(initial)(name)(00)
(M)(Huff)(43)
(M)(Speller)(68)
Be prepared for an influx of spam I thinks --Grimper12341 05:32, 23 September 2011 (MDT)

  • Seems my suspicions are confirmed, I'd be blocking those new accounts before it gets out of control (note: JRoush seems legit) --Grimper12341 05:35, 25 September 2011 (MDT)
  • It's clear now all those accounts are spammers. Sargunster hasn't responded to my PMs yet though ._. --Grimper12341 05:35, 25 September 2011 (MDT)
  • Sorry about me being unresponsive. I've been pretty busy. I promoted TheGuy to admin, and installed QuestyCaptcha to prevent new spammers from creating accounts. Tell me if you have any more suggestions for people to promote, so they can help maintain the wiki. --Sargunster 10:24, 25 September 2011 (MDT)
  • Should we create pages for vanilla items that have BTW specific recipes/functions? IE cake Rotten Flesh instead of linking to the minecraft wiki? --TheGuy 16:20, 27 October 2011 (MDT)
  • Should we consolidate all of the new block recipes onto one page or create an addition to the original pages? --TheGuy 22:13, 24 November 2011 (MST)

A lot of Demonstration Videos are listed as private. (axle and Detector Block, for example) Can those be fixed or replaced? -Pika 07:52, 4 May 2012 (MDT)

  • I'll replace them soon if I can find any other videos. I think Battosay made some tutorials a while back. --Sargunster 17:03, 23 May 2012 (MDT)

The forum has no link for new users to register on. ehsanmp 14:43, 04 October 2012 (BST)

What about adding a translation extension for the wiki? I'm in France and I know this wiki could be so helpful for those who aren't familiar with english. Noslen01 15:11, 16 December 2012 (CET)
